Photogrammetry Projects

Suggestion: to preview a model, download the video "fly around". They are normally around 4% the size of the model and do not require an expensive computer to open and work with.
2021-10-31_Joe_Wheeler_500 A campsite proposal.

I realized while looking at a map of tornado damage that the new clearing would make a really nice place to pitch tents without camping in a parking lot. Seems I needed to make that proposal about a year earlier.
2019-08-04_Accident_500 An accident in my neighborhood

All ground photography. I should do a render without texture. The tiremarks in the grass were much more obvious.
2019-07-29_Uncle_Toms_Cabin A render of my uncle's house

Flew the drone twice while visinting with family and built a model.
2019-06-14_Ballerina_render_500 The Baltimore Museum of Art

Two models from the Baltimore Museum of Art. Again, thank you to the museum staff for their patience.

Model of Fort Carroll in Baltimore Harbor.
2019-05-15_MonteSano_Sinkhole Sinkhole at Monte Sano State Park

A sudden sinkhole that opened under the closed portion of Bankhead Parkway.
BucksPocket_500 Buck's Pocket State Park Overlook

A model of the overlook at Buck's Pocket state park in northeast Alabama.
GSUMC_500 Good Shepherd United Methodist Church

A model of my church. There are only so many places where I can test (and fail) repeatedly without getting on the landowner's nerves. I have been very glad to be able to experiment here. This was my *third* collection attempt.
Jemez_500 Jemez Historical Site, New Mexico

Thank you to the NM State Park Service for permission to fly over their property.

This page includes an overview of the processes used:
